In 1949, Whitney Marchand built Marchand’s Floor Shop in Gonzales, Louisiana. It has evolved and grown over the years to now encompass four departments. Flooring, Hardware, and Kitchen & Bath operate as Marchand’s Interior and Hardware in the original location. Framing is now housed in a new location across the street at the Framing & Décor Gallery. Whitney’s vision of providing great customer service while maintaining a family atmosphere remains at the heart of the business. In keeping the tradition, Whitney's son, Brian, along with his children Brentley, Tessa, and Whitnee have stepped in and continue to manage the business under Brian.
